Some exaggerate in claiming to love Aliy or al-Hussein, to the point that some said Imamah(being an Imam like Aliy or al-Hussein) is higher than the prophethood status. This is kufur. As for karbala, it was an incident that happened about 1500 years ago, the death of the Prophet was greater then what you cry for. Live now to help Islam move forward.
