Hello, hello, hello. I'm Leslie, and this my blog number three. Okay, well, I have a story. Today I went to a few places with my mother. The first place was the doctor's. So we're in the car, driving, driving, heading towards the doctor's, and my mother, while there happens to be torrential rains, looks down over at my hands, and bursts into the exclamation, "Wow, Leslie! Your hands are really small!" Me, frightened, scream, "Mom! You are driving! Pay attention to the road!" So, I'm still rather unpetrubed, relaxed, fine. Then, we enter the doctor's office, and we're in the waiting room, which is full of people, and my mom, speaking in a loud voice, "Wow, Leslie, let me see your tiny fingers!"
"No, mom! You're being crazy--stop embarrassing me!"
The next part is a lot worse. Second, we go clothes shopping. I have to buy a fancy dress for a party I'm going to tonight, along with some shoes. I'm standing in the shoe department, and take off my running shoes. My mom's standing over there (I indicate where), and looks at me, and says, with a look of overexagerrated disgust, "Oh! Leslie! Those shoes! They smell awful." Then she picks them up and sniffs them, feigning a cough. Curious people are starting to stare now. And my mother, "What's wrong with you? Don't you chew your shoes?" (Now I realize I used the sign 'chew' instead of clean. I laugh and correct myself.) Yet again she holds up the shoes and fakes a cough.
"Mom! Stop it!" I protest, but the onlookers continue to stare. I cower down in embarrasment.
Okay, so now, we're driving home, and the entire drive my mom is whining about the smell of my shoes. She is starting to really bother me; I'm becoming extremely angry, but nooo, she won't stop being rude. Then my dad enters the room, and I take off my shoes, and my mom starts her fake coughing routine again. And me, I can't control my emotions anymore--I finally start talking [I had been quiet, trying not to yell] (I accidently sign something profane instead, then correct myself), and well, I kinda cursed at my mother, and now I'm not even sure if I can go to my friend's party now. Sad. Well, what am I supposed to learn from this? I hope your day was better than mine. Later. Thanks for watching.
