Description: Backpacking in from the pullout at the entrance to the tunnel. The trail goes up past old insperations point, along the rim to glacier point. I highly recoment this. Hiking along the rim is increadable! During the summer months when the snow is melting there are dozens of waterfalls coming off the edge with no names. The first few miles are tough but worth it. Its a good one for begginers. Even during the summer months come prepaired for snow on the ground. Come with a detailed map, and if you can a GPS. This trip was filmed after Oct. 31 and the temp was down to 17 deg!
