Description: This is another species of giant centipede, a full-grown scolopendra viridicornis killing and eating a mouse. Centipedes have very poor eyesight and this mouse was very adept at staying out of harms way so we had to use a long feather to help it out a little. I certainly would not have had to if I didn't have a large piece of wood in its habitat. Description: WARNING: VERY GRAPHIC!Our Vietnamese Giant Centipede, affectionately named Father Christmas, tears into a baby mouse. sorry there's no attack on the video, we missed it and promise to get it next time. we stopped filming early, with plans to return in a few minutes to get the end of the feeding. 10 minutes later when we returned, the whole mouse was gone. what a magnificent creature!
