Description: Okay, silliness aside...A civil war occured recently among several atheists. It started out with a few disagreements but turned into a full-blown flame war, progressing to the point where someone threatened to file a DMCA. One of the biggest contributors to the severity of the war was a kind of blind loyalty subscribers felt for their subscription - they took it upon themelves to make it their problem as well and slandered the hell out of his 'enemy' even though they had no stake in the confrontation.Atheists are in the minority. We already have enough trouble as it is taking heat from theists on all sides, getting more people to turn atheist, and trying to push for separation of church and state. Conflict among the atheist community will only slow down what we are trying to accomplish. It won't solve anything. I'm a practical thinker, and these 'civil wars' need to stop if we want to make a difference.As I've said before, it's one thing if two atheists have a disagreement, it's another if their subscribers let blind loyalty influence their actions and lead them to wage flame war against each other. If xxHarddrivex and Supexcellency were able to debate each other without any interference, it probably would have been settled without much trouble. But people just take this shit too seriously. As much sympathy as I have for Judelicious, she should NOT have 'participated' in the debate between Supexcellency and Harddrive the way she did. If subscribers and friends want to actually give input in a respectful manner in a debate between atheists, that's fine, but making fun of another person and insulting them is completely illogical and uncalled for.Hopefully some of you will get what I'm trying to say here. If not, then you'll probably think I'm an enemy of Judelicious (even though I'm subscribed to her and I have stated several times in the past I do not count myself to be an enemy to ANY atheist on Youtube) and will proceed to slander me as well. If that's the case, then so be it.
