  • Moonchild Part 1
Description: A video of the song Moonchild including The Dream and The Illusion, with images of their debut album 'In The Court Of The Crimson King', which i believe is the best debut album ever (it isn't the biggest selling though, that title goes to Boston's self titled debut). It features pictures of the original line-up of the group in 1969, as well as the album's artwork, painted by the now deceased computer technician Barry Godber (1946-1970, RIP). The song played displays the artistic music of Robert Fripp (guitars), Greg Lake (bass & vocals), Ian McDonald (multiple instruments), Michael Giles (drums & percussion), and Peter Sinfield (lyrics, quite possibly the best lyricist ever!).This video is dedicated to the man who painted the art Barry Godber, a computer technician, who in 1970, died of a heart attack at the age of 24.I originally intended to make five videos for the debut King Crimson album, but this one has been divided into two separate halves as the song is over 11 minutes and the youtube limit of 10 minute videos prevents having the whole video on in one go. The second half carries on exactly where this one leaves off. This video is meant for King Crimson fans, any comments left that i feel are unreasonable against the band or its fans shall be removed. Any comment off topic shall also be removed.
