Needless to say, they won the Competition!Sequence features Russian commentary as follows:'Now we see a classic duet from the ballet 'Le Corsaire' by Drigo performed by two graduates from the Leningrad Ballet School, Sizova and Nureyev. Nureyev, Bashkir by birth first showed his talent at a local ballet group, which recommended him to study in Leningrad. He was presented with an opportunity to attain excelence in the art of ballet. Nureyev performs a variation. The young artist expresses great power and vitality; his spins are particulary impressive. Sizova performs a variation from the ballet 'Le Corsaire'.
