Being IN Zion Canyon N.P. is a unique and memorable experience. Gigantic rock formations rise hundreds of feet OVER your head. Drive-thru is not permitted during summer months, instead a tram ride is provided by the park. Cost $25 to get in, but well worth it. Many off-road sights, be prepared to hike for miles. Need more than one day. Record high temperatures for March, when it may have been cold with snow. The Lodge is comfortable with full amenties (except a TV - who needs one here?). Sat out on the porch to soak in the sensational rock cliffs - words can't describe it). Fine on-site restraurant with excellent dinner, lunch, and breakfast. We'll be back, for sure.
