2007 World Jiu Jitsu Championships 194lbs match. Me, blue belt adult Erik Anderson in blue gi (Aloisio Silva BJJ Gym) vs. Segun Williams (Charles Gracie) in white gi from San Francisco. This was my second fought match of the night. I received a bye instead of a first match and I won my first fought match by points. The guy pulled guard and I passed guard and switched from side control to half guard to north south the rest of the match and racked up points until the 5 minute match was up.You can tell my wrestling takedown defense is rusty. He managed to get me with a bunch of double-leg takedowns :( I stood in a judo stance in an attempt to make him think I was not a wrestler. I didn't look like my wrestler self as my shots were crappy; not quick enough to grab a leg. I guess I put myself in a judo mindset because my best takedown attempt was a Seoinage which left me with half guard :-\This video is only a segment of the match, halfway in. The end of the video is a lapel choke submission finish by my competitor in the white gi. I attempted to turn out of this choke which he used multiple times in the match, but in the last few seconds of the video, I am forced to tap out as my vision had begun to go black.
