This is my review of the Gong Changer from the Super Sentai series GekiRanger. This is the current series airing in Japan. The theme is centered around martial arts and inner power known as GekiJyuken. GekiJyuken is practiced by the followers of good, and RinJyuken is power used by evil. Recently, Gou Fumaki returned. He's the older brother of Retsu Fukami (GekiBlue). Gou was a student of Master Shafu years ago, but he ended up using the forbidden GekiWaza known as JyuJyu Zenshin Hen against Rio and lost. The result of the forbidden Waza is a beast form, exactly like the Kenseis and Kenma. Gou's beast form was a werewolf. What happened to Gou between that time and the present is still unknown. Gou's Ki is different from the others because he trained with his own mentality. It's known as ShiGeki. Due to the difference, Gou could not use a standard GekiChanger to control his power. Unknown to Gou, when Shafu first witnessed him obtain ShiGeki, he had Miki create the Gong Changer. When Gou returns and says he can't be a GekiRanger because of his different power, Shafu instructs Miki to give Gou the Gong Changer. With it, Gou becomes GekiViolet and can control his GekiBeast, GekiWolf. Gou can also call upon GekiTiger and GekiJaguar to form GekiToujaWolf on his own.The Gong Changer comes alone with its grey wrist strap. There is 1 button on the Gong Changer, along with the right ear that controls the piece that hits the gong. Its features include henshin, and one GekiWaza known as Gon Gon Ken. To open the Gong Changer, you simply flip open the top. To henshin, you press the right ear on the changer. The ear controls the piece that strikes the gong. To activate the Gon Gon Ken GekiWaza, you press the black button in between the two orange lights, wait until it charges all the way, and strike by moving the changer. The Gong Changer could've used a few more features, but it's still a very nice changer. I gave it a 4/5.Enjoy!Next Review: Mercury Morpher
