Review of Takashi Shimizu's 2005 j-horror hit Reincarnation (輪廻). This is a very solid ghost story that while it doesn't totally take the genre in new places, it does a satisfying job in creating a good film. This modern japanese horror has been compared to the likes of Shimizu's other works on Ju-On (the grudge) and even The Shining.This was the third film in the 'j-horror theater' following infection (episode 6) and premonition (haven't reviewed that one yet). There are 3 more planned films, but there has been no word since this one was released about the status of the remaining films.Also, thanks everyone for the recent subscriptions and comments!
