Wild ARMs 4 Raquel solo - Sapphire Drake
This is a segment from my Raquel solo run. The rules are as follows:-Characters other than Raquel can only Guard.-Characters other than Raquel must be under level 10 (this is done by equipping the Monopoly Gourd on Raquel).-Characters other than Raquel must use their initial equipment. No Alter Parts may be used for Jude's ARM.-No items that can be only gotten through New Game+ carry overs can be used. This is done on New Game+ only to have access to the Monopoly Gourd to keep other characters' levels in check. Nothing carried over from the previous playthrough will be used.Optional superboss time! For most of these I won't be using Equites. Why? Because Equites is broken and Raquel doesn't need to be any more broken than she already is. Besides, it's more fun this way. This is Sapphire Drake, found in the middle of Autumn River. He will only appear after defeating Omen Fish.Sapphire Drake is pretty nasty. He has two elemental magic attacks: Hydro Pressure (water) and Stone Bullet (earth). He also can fly, has no elemental weaknesses, and is immune to poison. On top of that he has a hefty 170,000 HP, making this one of the harder superbosses in this format. There's not really much strategy here. I had to equip the Chick Badge to make his elemental magic survivable (especially since he starts on an earth hex which increases Stone Bullet's damage). Other than that, it's just a matter of staying healed and slowly chipping away at his HP. He does have high defense, so the Princess Saber is effective here.Setup:Level 81Princess Saber - 860 ATP, 4 ACN, -15 HIT, ignores target defense.Cromwell - 590 DFP, 470 MGR, +20 EVAChick Badge - Resistance to all elements.Frog Badge - Immunity to hex based statuses (poison/disease/misery/amnesia).
