Triakel is a Swedish folk group. The name was choosen because thereare 3 members, and "triakel" in Sweden is a sweet, but very dark liquer.Emma's voice is sweet, and they sing the darker folk songs.First up is "Mjölnarens måg" (The Miller's son-in-law).It is indeed a dark, but very funny song. I laugh every time I hear it.The Swedish says:Two men kidnapped a third and put him in a sack, and dragged him to the Miller's house.They put the sack in front of his daughter's bed,to keep him warm!That night when it was quiet, the sack got up and began to walk around!This awoke the Miller who cried:"Daughter dear, light a candle, there is a burglar in our house!"The daughter replied, "No dear father, it's only the cat chasing a mouse"This woke up his wife who chimed in:"If that's a cat, he's wearing hob-nail boots!"The miller hushed her up saying:"The devil with your lying tounge, you didn't talk like that when you were beautiful and young!"The second song has Benny Andersson, ABBA-star, joining Triakel, along with Yiva Eggehorn performing the lovely psalm, "Innan Gryningen".
