Well folks- the time has come. I debated whether to use some footage I had sought and just found and in the end I did not. I might not get the opportunity to use it because this IS the Semi Final and two of us mums will need to retire shortly.All in all it has been a very interesting journey...TheBennyZone nominated me and I thought; "Why not?" and that is how it began.At first I was naively excited to be participating in the project and threw myself into it with verve.Then I felt weird- thought I ought to retire because I couldn't stand the thought that some of us wonderful people would not continue on this experiment.Then I felt thrilled to have discovered other GREAT women (IN and AROUND the contest) and felt pleased to still be in. I have made some VERY close friends during this period and I have gained even more respect for our gender as a result. I have ALSO grown EVEN fonder of Benny. He is my main man even if I stray and oggle OhCurt's booty from time to time.Round 3 was VERY special- my entry really threw me. I can't actually watch it. It is very personal and it is probably not as perfect as I'd like it to be but there you are. I was "up against" AskCarrieLee who was the most amazing lady to be teamed up with and I am pleased I was. I had great fun with her.Now it is time for the Semi Final and our/my time is nearly done...THIS entry is going back to my roots of trying to illustrate my relationship with Brigid Mhairi- the VERY best girl-friend a mother could wish for. She is intelligent, wise and SO funny. Aesthetically pleasing and erm- gifted too. All in all it has been a GRAND afternoon, getting her to help me out on the challenges Benny set us.I hope you enjoy.
