Say My Name (Doctor/Rose)
*** READ BEFORE WATCHING ***Okay. Loverly fanfiction time :DBraceFaceFreak was awesome enough to write this amazing fanfiction based on this video...so here's a link for anyone who's interested...http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3710435/1...^^ Really, it's amazing. But it's a real tearjerker...I was crying by the time I finished it...it's soooo amazing though, you really should read it.At the beginning of the video, we see the Doctor as he was in Runaway Bride. Missing Rose. Then, a few years later, he travels to the 1700s..where he spots a girl who looks shockingly like Rose Tyler. He reasons that it cannot possibly be her and tries to forget about her...Then he becomes fatally ill/wounded (more likely wounded...but I'll leave that open for you to decide), and it is so bad that not even his regenerating would be able to save him...it would take too much effort and would kill him...and he hasn't got the energy, anyway. He dreams of Rose, remembers her...And in one of his moments of conciousness, he spots a girl in his doorway...the girl who looked like Rose. The rest of the song (starting after the first chorus) is told from Rose's point of view, her coming and staying at the Doctor's bedside in his last moments. She has "crossed the borders of time....to be with [him] again", somehow managing to break through the literal wall that seperates them. I'll leave that open to you as well. The very end of the video takes a turn that I don't think I will ever forgive myself for...but you'll have to watch it to find out what that is.KEYFor scenes in...Colour - the present (or really powerful memories or past emotions)Black and White - the Doctor's dreams/memoriesSepia - RECENT memories. The idea for this video alone took about two weeks to write...the actual video took five days. This is the second version I made, the original skipping and a bit glitchy...but here it is at last! Also, the video takes place in the 1700s because I wanted an excuse to use clips from Casanova (which takes place in the 1600s, I believe) and Mansfield Park (which takes place in the 1800s, if I'm not mistaken)...so the 1700s was right in the middle! And I would just like to point out, in case you weren't able to tell, that the carriage at the end simbolizes the same thing the carriage at the end of "The Girl in the Fireplace" simbolized. The song at the very beginning (and in the credits) is "Paradise", by Vanessa Carlton...the song used for the body of the video is "Say My Name", by Within Temptation.Clips from Doctor Who, Casanova, and Mansfield Park.COMMENTS AND RATINGS PLEASE !!I DO NOT OWN DOCTOR WHO, MANSFIELD PARK, OR CASANOVA!! NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED! ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO THEIR APPROPRIATE OWNERS!
