LEGO STAR WARS 2Per Diesel ins Abenteuer: Rang
Ok I have gone through and read almost all of the comments. Thank you for sharing your opinions even if your opinions don't match up with mine they are still important.I believe that slaughter is necessary as of now due to the horrible over breeding that is going on in the US at this time. Until we can solve that problem, we will need some way to get rid of the excess horses. Yes that does sound horrible but it's sadly true.I would like to add that just because I made this video, it doesn't mean I am some soulless horrible person who wants to kill horses. Quite the opposite actually. I have 3 horses. One is 6 one is 24 and one is 27. The 24 year old I have had for 20 years. I am only 21 mind you, my parents bought her shortly after I was born. She has been arthritic since age 16. She has mostly been a big lawn ornament since then, meaning she just sits in the pasture. She still gets love, attention, grooming, good feed, good hay, and exercise (when her arthritis isn't acting up). There is no way I would ever sell her and she will be with me until her time on earth is over. When that happens she will be buried in our hayfield along with my moms horse, who was a pasture pet due to chronic founder and who we kept comfortable and finally put her down when we could no longer keep her comfortable, and my dads horse, who was also a pasture pet for about 5 years due to a battle with EPM he eventually had a stroke and we had to put him down.My 27 year old is still spry as a 5 year old and I was jumping him last month, I have had him for 9 years and will have him the rest of his life. Two summers ago he became very ill. We had to take him to a university vet hospital and he ended up spending a week there and about $3000. Now when we bought him at age 18 he cost us $1200. He was 26 when he got sick. People thought we were crazy for trying to save him but I wouldn't give up. He wasn't in pain, so I said try to save him. They did and I ended up being very poor for a long time because of it but to me it was absolutely worth it.The 6 year old is my Thoroughbred mare who I bought as a completely unhandled 2 year old. She was supposed to be a hunter jumper... she doesn't like to jump. Instead of getting rid of her though, I am working on finding a discipline she does like to do which right now it seems to be barrels. She will be with me the rest of her life as well. Now to top it all off, I am only 21. I am also a college student. I pay for everything for my horses. I have been paying for everything for the horses since my dad died when I was 14. As soon as I turned 15 I got a job. I have been working my butt off since then. My mom doesn't make enough money to even help me out with college let alone help with the horses. Now while I am at college they are 3 sitting at home being pasture puffs, and my mom feeds and cleans stalls for me (I am in college 4 hours away from home). Now it would make more sense to just sell them right? But no I could never do that. Do they care they are being pasture puffs? Nope, I am sure they enjoy it.My ambition in life is to actually buy horses from the auctions. Take the ones that no one else wants, feed them, love them, retrain them, and then find them wonderful homes. So if after hearing all this you still think I am some horrible vulgar evil person... well... you are entitled to your opinion but I still think you are wrong.
