**read this first**me playing along to metallica's blackened. expert mode in rockband with a final score of 203k with 94% notes hit and a 206 note streak. not the best currently, although for a few days it was good enough to land #1 on the leaderboards.i broke my kick drum pedal (see my other video on here of it happening) so while i was without a pedal (I've since received my warranty replacement and don't plan on using it). to see how i built my custom button kick pedal, see this guys video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpzhPF... the kick pedals im using are cheapo pacific double bass. $120 at guitar center. and a 60 dollar kick drum practice pad. the button is mounted in a piece of wood so that the button is depressed about when the beater is hitting the practice pad. the practice pad is not needed but probably helps to simulate a realistic responsei can play real drums but probably not all that great being that i only fiddle around on my drummers set every now and then. i mainly play guitar so check out those videosthe sound quality isnt great because its a digital camera picking up the sound. i've since managed to hook up the sound direct but the couple of times i've played since then i haven't gotten higher than 203k. if you can make out the screen well enough you'll see theres some missed notes that i should have gotten, so theres obviously plenty of room for improvement. i mainly am uploading this because there appears to be a severe lack of this song being on youtubeedit: the extra kick drum triggers were borrowed from a friend to see if they would work. nope. had to use the button method
