A few typos fixed...-----Mary and Mario sent the beings sprawling. They both looked into Mary's eyes before teleporting away. Mary and Mario were beat, although they're wounds were not serious.Mario: *Wooh* ... I must be getting old...Mary: Atleast *pant* they're gone.She then heard voices in her head. It was the voices of those two beings.???: (You have been true to what you said... But another force within you may one day prevent you from persuing happiness and make you inable to help others)Mary thought it was strange that they, out of all people or things, would test her in such a strange mannor. Now she worried about what they just told her.Luigi: Hey, yoohoo?! Anyone out there?!Link: Anyone, please respond! If you're Mario or Mary it'd be real appreciated!But Mary knew she couldn't brood over that now.Mario: Luigi? Link? Is that you?Link & Luigi: You bet!Luigi and Link ran into the room. Mary noticed they were a little roughed up.Mary: Are you okay?Link: Heh, we should be the ones asking you that. What happened?Mary: Well, I came here to be alone... But I wasn't alone. Two figures entered the room and started talking to me about things... thing that, somehow, they may have known about events that happened to me. I only got a good look at them when Mario started coming down the hall. Around that point, we finished our conversation... And they wanted to test me...Mario: Mary, I only heard you scream when I was coming down the hall. Are you sure you're okay?Mary: You didn't hear it?... Now that I think of it, I don't even know myself.Luigi: Don't worry, Mary. You've always got us to talk to. We are all friends here, you mustn't worry about that.Mary: Yeah, your right. Say, what's you're name? Mary pointed at Mario.Mary: I know he's Mario...Luigi: My name's Luigi. What might your name be?Mary: I'm Mary, Mary Deiyon.Link: Anyway...Link pulled out the ice rod and extinguished the flames.Link: We should head back.Everyone agreed. And they all headed back to where they were at earlier.Mario: Are you sure you don't have anything you need to get off your chest, Mary?Mary shook her head.Mary: I'm fine. Don't worry about it.Link: You sure, Mary.Mary: I'm positive.Mary forced a smile. The others were still concerned.The rest of that day, Mario and Luigi were giving Link and Mary a tour of the base. The place was a new place for a dying alien race to try to etch out a living. Many humans also resided here. Apparantly some cult has been attacking them for days now. If it wasn't for Mario and Luigi, the remaining aliens and the people living there would have all perished. At the end of the day, Mario and Luigi showed them to the room that they slept in. There was an extra two beds, so No one had to sleep on the floor. At the middle of the night, Mary woke up and noticed she was the only one in the room. Panicing, she decided to look for them outside. Eventually she stumbled onto a figure standing next to a large fountain (about 75 feet away from her). Mary sensed a vile smell in the area.Mary: Um, exuse me????: Hmm?Mary: Can you help me? I'm looking for Mario, Luigi, and Link.???: I can help you... But why should I help you find them? What I have in mind for you is more... divine.Mary: What?Mary eyes adusted to the darkness. The figure was a man in a black outfit with orange hair that covered his face. He constantly twitched. Blood ocasionaly poured out of his sleeves. There was the dead body of a young woman besides his feet. Mary wasn't frightened... but she'd never been so repulsed in her whole life.Mary: 'More divine?' You're not making any sense.the man laughed.???: Mary, what I have in store for you is much better than you're silly friends. In fact, if you come with me you can meet much better friends. People that know what it's like living the life that you did.Mary gasped.Mary: How do you know my name?!???: Oh, that's right. I forgot to introduce myself.Ravenous: My name's Ravenous. Remember it, as I've remembered your's.Mary: I'd rather find out what happened to my current friends before I make any more.Ravenous chuckled. The way he chuckled sent shivers down Mary's spine.Ravenous: Why, they're right here. Look above you.Ravenous pointed upward. Mary was shocked to find her friends bound and dangling by chains.Ravenous: Here's the deal: You come with me, I let them go. But if you refuse... I kill them.Mary noticed monstrous looking ghosts appear around Link, Mario, and Luigi. They'd pretend to bite something off of them ocasionally.Mario: Don't give in to what he wants!Ravenous pulled out a handgun and shot Mario's hat off of his head.Ravenous: Do you want to die?!He put his gun away and looked at Mary again.Ravenous: I can't tell you what decision is right, you are the one who decides...Mary got on her knees, slowly tears formed in her eyes, which led to quietly sobbing. This was music to Ravenous' ears.Ravenous: Ah, probably the most plesent noise in all of existance. A girl with no hope, crying softly. Take your time, I've got all day.Mary screamed out of rage and tackled Ravenous (yes, from about 75 feet away), pinning him to the ground.Ravenous: Hmph. Interesting choice, Mary.Mary: How about you go by my terms?! Either a) I win and you let my friends go, or b) You defeat me and you can do whatever you want to me or them! How's that sound?!Mario, Link, and Luigi all gasped out of shock of what Mary just said.Mary's eyes grew feral, changing from blue to red.Ravenous: Humph! I was always a sucker for girls! Sure, sounds good.Mary then quickly stood up, grabbed Ravenous and tossed him about 10 yards. Ravenous quickly landed on his feet.Ravenous: I'm going to enjoy devouring your corpse after this!---------------------------------------- ---Yes, I know there are some skipped frames, and I know that for some reason Ravenous took it easy. But this was hard to get. He has many more abilities than this fight shows. And yes, I didn't use hypers, mainly because previous rounds with him showed me that I'm open when I execute them (no, not trying to), and I'm VERY open after and hyper. This is probably one of the few fights I got angry at trying to get it right.
