WORLDS FIRST VIEW OF HISTORIC WPAFB HANGER 18 ROSWELL DEBRIS
World's first on-base view of historic Hanger 18 located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio. This is mentioned in UFO lore as the destination (or unloading point) of the bodies of extraterrestrials recovered from the crash near Roswell New Mexico in 1947. Some say that alien bodies are preserved or buried somewhere in the underground portions of the base. (Although a building labled Hanger 18 no longer exists, it is thought that the actual building, which may have then been called Hanger 18 and is the building where the Roswell debris was unloaded (said to have been carried by a B-29), is still on the air base under a different name.)A Wright Patterson Air Force Base employee had invited some members of the local UFO investigating group on base to show some material. When the group arrived, no one knew where to go and accidently entered the employee traffic entering the base. The flagman saluted, the group saluted him, and he waved the car on in. The group continued to be lost and drove around several times. Later they were told they had been in a classified area. The commentary was by the driver, who had followed orders when the flagman waved people in, but was now getting nervous. Especially because he did not know how to leave the area and go to the place of the appointment. Hanger 18 is said to be the second hanger from the left (in the group of long half-barrel shaped buildings). These were the chief hangers in 1947 and the runways connected to them. (Now the base's main runways are much longer and no longer located on this portion of the base.) An accelerated (or speed) runway, which is on a downhill slope, is in the area in front of the hanger today. Wright Patterson is the historic air base where the Wright brothers developed flight using heavier than air craft. If alien debris ever was found, this base might, even today, be a location where it is sent. The base is laden with underground tunnels and vaults. Several informants told us where some of the entrances for some of these major vaults are. At different times when we were there, we watched as portions of tunnels were being dug up (apparently even such high tech chambers sometimes spring leaks, become waterlogged, and age). We saw building 18 and a number of other places. If alien bodies do exist, this might be one of the most secure places to store them.Lieutenant Walter Haut was the public relations officer at Roswell, who in 1947
issued the original and subsequent press releases about the Roswell crash on the orders of the base commander, Colonel William Blanchard. Haut left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his
death. This text was released about July 1st 2007 and it asserts that the military's weather balloon
claim was a cover story and that the real object had been a UFO, which had been recovered by the
military and stored in a hangar. He said he had also seen
alien bodies.Although it is unknown what the UFO phenomena really is, if WPAFB put its UFO-related material on display, it would have a huge audience. This tour is continued at:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ke5OX...
