[Nick and Miley are taking a walk.]Nick: Miles, are you okay?Miley: Yeah, I think so.Nick: Well, we need to talk.Miley: Yeah, we do. Can I go first?Nick: Yeah.Miley: Okay. Let's start with the night we broke up. I need to explain some stuff about that.[Miley and Nick sat down on a park bench. Miley started to cry and she layed her head down on Nick's shoulder.]Miley: Well, you were really busy on your tour and I missed you so much. I knew that Cody liked me so I asked him out. I told everyone that we had broken up because of the distance. I was going to break up with you that night but I couldn't do it. I liked you to much. So I kept my secret and went out with COdy. I just needed someone to give me big hugs when I was sad, someone to go to the movies with, or someone to carry my bags when I went shopping. But I didn't realize, what I needed was you. So, when you walked in, and I kissed Cody, I realized that no one could take your place. I decided then to break up with Cody and call you to tell you the truth, When I turned around and saw you there, I got so scared and then you ran. No matter how many times I called you to try to tell you the truth. Your brothers always said you were busy. I knew that had lost the most amazing boy ever, as a boyfriend and as my best friend. I never forgave myself. I still loved you. I just couldn't face you. When I realized that you lived by me, I just knew everything was going to be so much harder. Harder to hide all the pain from everyone. I never told anyone how bad I felt about doing that to you. I cried myself to sleep each night. I tried to tink of a way to get you back. But I knew that was impossible. Nicky, I've missed you.Nick: Miles, don't cry. [Nick is holding Miley in his arms. Miley is crying really hard now.]Nick: Miles, I felt like you had never loved me. And I couldn't take that so whenever you called, I always ignored you. I couldn't face you. I loved you more than anyone else. I was heartbroken. But, I had to go back to my tour. Playing 'Please Be Mine' those first nights was almost as hard as watching you kiss Cody. I wouldn't talk to anyone. Not even Joe or Kevin. I cried myself to sleep everynight. I wondered what I did that made you not like me anymore. I hated myself for losing the one girl that I truly loved. Miley, I love you! But I don't know if I can trust you...Miley: Nicky, I'm so sorry for what I did. I guess it just took me losing you to realize how much I needed you.Nick: Miley, Do you remember the song 'One Day at A Time'? Miley: Yeah.Nick: I wrote that for you. Inside, I was dying. I saw you with Cody, and I just fell apart. Miley: Nick, I'm not going to ask you to be my boyfriend again, because I know that you would never say yes- But I do want to be friends again.Nick: How do you know I would never saw yes? Miley, will you be my girlfriend again?Miley: Oh, Nicky! Of course![Nick and Miley hug.]Miley: I've missed your hugs.[Nick hugs Miley again. He doesn't let go.]Nick: Miley, you don't know how good this feels. I love you.Miley: I love you too, Nicky.[Joe calls Nick. Nick answers.]Nick: Hello?Joe: Nick, you'd better get Miley home now! Braison is in the hospital! There was an accident. He cracked his head open when he was playing baskeball with his friends. Billy Ray tried calling Miley but she didn't answer.Nick: Okay, we're coming home right now.[Nick and Joe hang up]Miley: What happened?Nick: Miles, we have to go home now. I'll explain more when we get there.[They run home. Nick takes Miley into his house.]Kevin: I'll take you guys to the hospital. JOE!! COME ON!Joe: I'm coming.Miley: Wait, hospital? Why?Nick: Braison cracked his head open when he was playing basketball with his friend.Miley: OhMyGod!
