After Adam hears about Claire from Peter, he wants to see what the girl who has the same power as him is like. So he finds her, just to talk to her once. After meeting though, he can't stop thinking about her. He releases that he may not have to spend eternity alone. He proposly runs into her time and time again, until she asks him his name. They starting meeting in secret and he shows that he has the same power as her. Claire suddenly doesn't feel as alone in the world. The two begin to fall in love. Adam keeps his ties to both Peter and The Company secret. Everything seems to be going well until Noah sees them together. Having worked for The Company, he knows who Adam Monroe is and what he is capable of. Later that night, he tells Claire that Adam can not be trusted and that she isn't allowed to see him anymore. Claire is devastated but agrees. She confronts Adam and they have an argument. He wants her to leave with him and even though she wishes she could, she says she can't leave her family. Adam says he'll wait as long as he can for her the next day should she change her mind. The next day, Noah and Claire have a massive blowout and Claire says that she's leaving with Adam. Claire rushes to get to him but he already left, leaving behind a message saying sorry. She looks to the sky and wonders for she'll ever see him again...Timeline- So, if it's 4 months between seasons and it's a month before Peter and Adam even start talking.
