Happy Harvest Moon! (Magical Melody / Mid-Autumn Festival)
This is in honor of September 25th: 2007's Mid-Autumn Harvest Moon Festival! ^_^ A general Harvest Moon tribute. I've been waiting months for that day. Seriously. That is the level of my obsession. And now here it is. Harvest Moon. ...What am I still doing at my computer!? I need to go outside and look, or celebrate with a marathon or something! xPThe original plan for today was the HM Rap, which, um, technical difficulties prevented me from finishing in time. So for this last-minute substitute I tried for simply... the "best-of" Harvest Moon (Magical Melody clips only of course, since that's all I'm capable of!) for all the characters, types of events, and stories and stuff. I know not /everyone/ is in there, but... yeah. Enough of 'em. The music is from the "credits" at the Harvest Goddess resurrection - see "Saving the Goddess, Part 2." (The same music is used near the end of the Jamie Wedding & End as well.) I was thinking of using an actual song called "Harvest Moon," by Neil Young, haha, but, um... yeah... I have no iTunes or anything and I'm totally clueless about downloading music, so I found a long-enough and uninterrupted-by-the-blip-blip-blips-of- dialogue (did you notice the ZERO talk boxes in the vid? I made sure of that, not because of sound, but just... I dunno... purity... xDDD or something, I can't think of the right word) piece of Harvest Moon music to work. The only issue is that rushing WATER. That's when the character walks over the bridge during the credits. GEEZ, nothing else made noise in there, animals or anything, so why the river?? Still, I had Winnie-worthy inspiration and overcame it with my "SKILLZ." Oh yes. Oh so skillfully did I coordinate the part with rushing water... with clips of people NEAR water. xD Yaaay. So, please enjoy! Friends, festivals, notes, animals, races, mountain climbs, door visits, rival scenes, passing-outs... all random things coming together to create one fabulous (series of) game(s) that has its own ANNUAL CELEBRATION AND MOON PHASE to honor it - how darn cool is that!? x3Harvest Moon is a registered trademark of Natsume Inc. ©1998-2004 Natsume Inc.
