Well, this one cost me to the tip of my index finger today. A classic Primus song, and one hell of a tough one to pull off from beginning to end without a slew of mistakes. I am no Les Claypool, so forgive the mis-hit notes and some rhythm discrepancies. Hell, who am I fooling? This is like any other Primus song I do...not the "official" version most likely, but close enough to get away with it. Between the taps, the fast fingering, the solos, and the complicated slapping, this tune is a literal minefield for any bass player wishing to tackle it....and it eats calluses for breakfast if you play it more than a few times (I did it about ten times today....6 were just practice). All hail Les Claypool...the true bass god of gods. As a mortal, I can only create a cheap fascimile of his greatness.Btw...this video was done on request.
