San Felipe Exes brought us to Del Rio to attend the Black and White Ball - with Tony as the famous emcee and guest of honor. Along the way we managed to squeeze in a little touristing. Lunch on the way was at Humphrey Petes in Brownwood, and stops included Telegraph, Texas and the beautiful South Llano River. Of course you'll see the meeting of the Exes on Friday night too! Followed by a "Super-Max" at Memo's. Saturday found us heading west once more to get a view of the famous "High Pecos Bridge". Along the way we stopped at Seminole Canyon State Park - famous for the ancient Native American cave/canyon paintings. The unusual and striking scupture is called the "Peace Bringer". We were so close we couldn't resist stopping by Judge Roy Beans and checking out the site where he administered the "Law West of the Pecos". We weren't done yet - it was off to Acuna for a little shopping and sipping before a mad rush back to the main event - The Black and White Ball. Dancing the night away. On the way home Sunday - whew! Oh yeah we managed a quick peek at Fort Clark in Bracketsville, Texas. Yup, we had a flat....on the road again......
