I recorded this video yesterday and was devistated to find that the sound quality was non-existent. I'm going to upload it anyway, with a transcript attached, because I think it's a powerful video, and recording another one couldn't possibly re-capture the authenticity and conviction contained in it...(Transcript)Slider (Ryan), my name's David. I don't think you said your name throughout the video. I don't want to get repetitive here on You Tube, although, this may be fresh for you. I'm responding to a video called "Do you believe in an Afterlife," for whoever is viewing this. You narrowed it down to two options, which I do think that those are the only options plausible. Either we continue our existence after this current incarnate on Earth, or we don't. I'm trying to delve into new resolutions as I go throughout You Tube. I just don't want to keep espousing the same material. I personally, from a personal standpoint, believe...not necessarily that there's an "Afterlife,"...that would denote that this life is the true life maybe? After-Life...I believe there's an existence, and it doesn't cease, it doesn't stop with the physical reality. Therefore, this is not "The Reality". This is a brief period where, we take on forms. We take on a physical form in order to fulfill a purpose, and that's a purpose that I'm still seeking to understand through my journey on You Tube. I believe that this is like a transition phase, and we're here to accomplish and fulfill some purpose, although right now it's eluding me. Maybe you can help fill in that void. Maybe any of you, maybe someone out there can. It would have to be an innovative idea...or maybe not, maybe it lies within. I believe that we, me and you...we have ONE existence, and it spreads throughout time...but I think time is a construct of the mind. I don't believe that time is a real factor; I believe that it only has significance within the mind of the beholder who ascribes meaning to time. I believe there's only now, and everything else is peripheral. So, while we inhabit this incarnate, as I've said, I believe the purpose is to truly understand the nature of existence and how we can perceive nature in it's entirety, and perceive ourselves as being part of this "nature," and our existence as a continuation...having no limits, having no boundaries. Not finite. No restrictions. Not plagued by the obsessions of the mind that come with the physical incarnate. So I believe that after...once we've completed this transition, not speaking on what comes before this existence, because that would be speculation as well...All is really speculation isn't it? Is there a point where you (we) can come to where you (we) can truly understand? Does enlightenment usher in a complete knowing, a complete realization where all is attainable, and nothing is lost, and everything is solidified? But after this transition phase, I believe that we do keep on existing in a different incarnate, perhaps our true incarnate, or perhaps in another (incarnate) that is like the Earthly existence, the physical existence, and like a...not a test necessarily but, in order to attain this meaning and purpose that the physical reality can give to us, if we infer and get to know our inner self, we can extract it...so we possibly go into another existence seeking these answers, or if we attain that within this physical reality, we revert back or transcend (this reality) to the one true reality, the one true self. So I mean, speculating on theologies is not why I'm here. In the absence of empirical evidence, I can't determine, I can only realize in what contexts certain things were proposed, and to dwell on that is to restrict yourself (myself) in an Earthly mindset, and I'm trying to branch out of this and achieve an awakening so that I will be able to answer your question absolutely, and we all can coalesce in our understanding that existence continues...and this is nothing but a transition in the lineage of our existence...
