Angela Aki Kodoku no Kakera Full Version アンジェラ・ア
heh I'm really in hyper mode now =D.Let's address some things first:This is not my usual video where I recorded the whole song continuously. You will notice couple transitions because I actually recorded the piano part according the drums part that I made, and I mixed-in the strings and horn parts afterwards. So I hope you won't come to me and saying that this is a fake video, it's pre-recorded and it's not me who're playing blah blah blah, of course it's separately pre-recorded, or else how are you expecting a good quality sound and all of those arrangements?Anyways, here is Angela Aki's latest single Kodoku no Kakera (Fragments of Solitude) which to be released on May 23th. It is used as the theme song for Japanese Drama - Kodoku no kake:Itoshiki hito yo.This time I went full power with full accompaniment. Drums were firstly recorded as I realized that I'm always out of tempo. Horn parts were made based on Angela's arrangement. Strings were not exactly Angela's because I'm running out of time and doing a full strings part on keyboard is pain in the butt =D, and I guess the strings part kinda suck at some point, so for those strings maestro please spare me the scolding as I haven't played with strings arrangement for quite a time. These parts have been mixed with standard arrangement-Drums, piano at the center, strings lean left, and horn lean right. So make sure you're listening these on a stereo set =D.And of course one of the main highlight of the video: Lyrics. Got the lyrics from uta-net, and pls keep in mind that the lyrics were listed before the single's out and now I've noticed that there are indeed couple mistakes in the lyrics, so you should google around for the correct lyrics. Chrono_Chross did an extremely great job in translating the lyrics so make sure to check them out at http://community.livejournal.com/ange... . Also thx to all of the ppl in Youtube and Angela Aki's LJ community for sharing the song and video.Personally I think this is another great song from Angela, the lyrics is really cynical and dark, the arrangement is pretty interesting too especially the interlude before bridge.Hopefully y'all will enjoy it as much as I do because it's a pretty big challenge for me to do all of the remixing and editing, and I'm ecstatic that I nailed it =D.As usual no music sheet and such, especially since the song's not in the market yet. Please rate and comment, would love to hear your thoughts!
