Panthers II part6 Vs Buccaneers
Game 3 Panthers Vs BuccaneersNYS 2007 LASVEGAS Fall LeagueIt was a mild and breezy october afternoon when the Panthers met the Buccaneers on the field last saturday. The name of the game was Old School. The Buccaneers with their bright, new, clean and yellow uniforms brimming with overconfidence, underestimated our "Boys in teal". With coach Manny"The BULL" on the helm , the Panthers started the game kicking off to the Bucs- no score..just a quick turnover. Also unable to score, the Panthers team inundated with errors and penalties began their offensive game with Jeremy throwing an interception. Afterwards, on the first 15 mins of the game play, Jeremy ran a what should-da-been a touchdown that was nullified because of clipping on the panthers offensive side. The Bucs fired back with quick plays that would have made Madden proud but was shut down when Panthers defensive team needed to stop them from scoring. It was a brutal battle which at the end of the 1st half with both teams remaining scoreless. After the half time the Panthers eventually got in the groove and realized that they can takedown the Bucs who were sporting their nice clean "yella" jerseys and brought the hammer down by moving the ball upfield and scoring a hard fought touchdown *note on this same run: Coby "Beef" scored a touchdown that was also called back because of a penalty "Nuts!".No extra point conversion- the line collapsed" Nuts Again!". The Panthers suddenly caught a unexpected second wind when Tyson "Key Player" caught an interception(sorry Tysons'Mom, I lost filmfootage... my bad..the camera misfired) and ran it all the way upfield for a game clinching touchdown. Panthers offensive lines slow movement cost them the extrapoint conversion when they were penalized again by running out of time(are you listening coaches?). Score at this point Panthers-12 Bucs-0...Afterwards Hollywood goes down and gets up.. he's ok !We all love him. With 9 minutes still on the game clock the Bucs make a hopeless last-ditch effort to put some numbers on the board. Unable to break the seeming impenetrable Panthers defensive wall, the game clock runs out giving the Panthers their 2nd SHUTOUT WIN for the season. Game highlights include 3 big sacks/ a big interception from tyson... also noted: a big kickreturn tackle by Jimmy... yes Jimmy the smallest member of the team... ways to go Smalls the 2nd! Almost forgot, the Bucs wanted to play with a peewee sized football to which the referee promptly threw it back at their sidelines...Tee-heee-heee If you have never seen the movie "The Sandlot" watch it because if you enjoyed this game as much as I did , you'll enjoy that movie. Moral of the story "It's not how much you paid for your equipment or uniforms that matters but how much heart you got in you..que falta te hace ganas mi mijos..para ganarse(translation: to win my boys..you will need the will to win)"Final Score: Panthers-12 Bucs-0Background music inspired by "The Sandlot"Intro from "Superman the movie"Song "Green oninons by Booker T w/ WolfmanJack's SoundByte"2nd Song " Yakety yak by the Coasters"3rd song "WIpe out by the Surfaris"4th Song " Stand By Me" from King Ben E.Lyrics: Stand by MeWhen the night has comeAnd the land is darkAnd the moon is the only light we'll seeNo I won't be afraid, no I won't be afraidJust as long as you stand, stand by meAnd darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh now now stand by meStand by me, stand by meIf the sky that we look uponShould tumble and fallAnd the mountains should crumble to the seaI won't cry, I won't cry, no I won't shed a tearJust as long as you stand, stand by meAnd darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh stand by meStand by me, stand by me, stand by me-e, yeahWhenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me, oh now now stand by meOh stand by me, stand by me, stand by meDarlin', darlin', stand by me-e, stand by meOh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me
