A slideshow of Julie & Michael's handfasting/ wedding on September 2nd, 2006. Julie is a dear college friend of my girlfriend Lisa. When Lisa asked if I'd travel the 10 plus hours to the wedding I hesitated but decided in the end to go, I'm glad I did.I love making compositions of the world around me.It was a wedding where I didn't know 98% of the people there so my camera was my way to connect visually with the familles and their friends that surrounded me.Michael & Julie are both of Irish decent and spent their honeymoon in Ireland. So when I decided to put their pictures to music, I searched for Celtic music. I'm in an Irish band myself (Anam Cara) so there was a familar musical connection too. The name Dagae in one of the songs refers to an old god of Irish mythology that was "good at everything". I liked the song and it seemed to fit.Music Credits: Christopher Franke - Celtic Mist------Dagda - Harp of Dagda
