Jordan Kothe918-948-7095When I first started in the home based business industry, I was probably like a lot of you out there. I did exactly what my up line told me to do...I sat down and I made my list of EVERYONE that I knew...old friends, new friends, family, and acquaintances...you know how it is.After I made my list, I called all of those people and let them in on my world and let them know about what I was doing with my businessA lot of the people that I talked to told me no right away. I had some "maybes", a lot of people said "yes" and a few that said "I'll think about it" but I definitely had a lot of people tell me "no". The first call I made on my list was to my best friend, I've been best friends with this guy since we were 4 or 5 years old. I was SO excited when I called himI said "Hey Derek! I have this call for you to listen to; it's going to be awesome!" He told me okay, so I 3 wayed him into the call. Three or four minutes into the call he told me to hang up, I did and he started cussing me out!!!I was so shocked; I thought he would be just as excited as I was! To be honest, I became a little discouraged; I was just thinking "ok if my best friend is reacting this way, how is everyone else on my list going to react?" I got over it, and went on with my list. A month or so later I invited him to a home meeting...he said he couldn't go.A month after that, I had him come over and watch a short DVD about our company.He came over, watched the DVD, loved the information, and got started a few days later!It was an exciting day!I had another situation where I sat down with a guy in April, showed him all of the information, he said everything looked great but he wasn't interested...I thanked him for his time, he had my number if he needed anything and we parted waysIt's so crazy b/c I just got a call from him asking me if he could start working with me!I was really excited for this new chapter in his life and him calling me really made me think about timing and how important it is in our lives.
