Colbert kicks Chuck Norris' BUTT, so he can SURELY beat Hillary. NEWSFLASH! Support...The 28th Amendment! Ballot Initiatives to push for an amendment to the Constitution to require this president to have ALL of the combat troops in Iraq home- by the time the next president takes office- and to affirm that Congress has the power to declare war- NOT the President, and that this President has overstepped this boundary, among others, and thus should be censured and perhaps impeached, but will be allowed to serve out the remainder of his term- and also be pardoned of his offenses, provided that he succeeds in the mission of bringing ALL combat troops currently in Iraq home safely... by the time the next President takes office. And some recognition of Congress's failure, and how the failure on all sides in dealing with this war in Iraq- has contributed to a situation which we must now fix, rationally- and as peacefully- as possible- without continuing combat missions in Iraq beyond the end of this Administration. How about THAT initiative, is anyone with me? Its about time for some serious forward-looking changes, without having to play the dirty game of attack politics- and this is one way for the American public to say loud and clear that we're serious about ending this, we want to be responsible in doing it, we want to reprimand George Bush but at the same time, if he will hear our message loud and clear- and abide by it- he could actually redeem himself and our country- and lastly it would remind our government that our Constitution specifies CONGRESS has the power to "Declare War-" and that it should be done with a vote on a formal declaration of war by Congress, not by a blank check resolution that does not explicitly declare war.Colbert 08!
