They try to take credit for your work, they insist everything was due to their wise machinations and you need them clinging to your leg like a hysterical terrier. Yeah right! This is Street Legal at our snarky best!And while we're on the subject of tall tales and lunar travel, here's a look at probably the first science fiction movie ever: Georges Méliès "Le Voyage dans la Lune". Filmed in 1902, this is a riot of a little movie, you've probably seen bits and pieces of it already. Though it's sheer silliness for much of it, and you get a look at the girls of the 1902 Folies Bergère! (The Folies is still around! Talk about staying power!)The movie is over 100 years old and the copy I have tends to pixel, so be kind to it. You can download the entire movie at the internetarchive.org, so go get it!
