Millbrae -1947, "Trip UP Scene kids
David St. Romain, a Cajun native, spent his childhood on the wing of his father's career in the automobile industry, ranging from Florida to the pelican state, where he began performing as a teenager in local bars. David's influences range from heavy metal, rock & roll, R&B and traditional and contemporary country. Discovered by a local Louisiana producer, David began recording in February of 2000 under the direction of one of Nashville's finest songwriters, Dan Tyler.
Dan spent the next year developing David while organizing the talented and artistic production team of Tony Harell, Greg Morrow and R.S. Field. With "Five Sides" recorded, the group began shopping for a record deal. However, David wound up without a deal and unsure where to turn at that point. Picking up where they left off, the team reorganized and finished David's album, titled "DSR," allowing him to release a single in early 2001.

For the next four years, David spent most of his time and talents promoting his record on the road, performing an average of 150 shows a year. He entertained on stages in over 20 states and met his wife in his hometown of Baton Rouge in 2002. Burned out from the wear and tear of the road, David decided to move his base back to Baton Rouge. Since then, David married his true love while continuing to perform mostly in the southern U.S., building a fan base of true supporters.

Around the fall of 2004, Mike Brignardello a Triple A studio bass player, began showing interest in helping David start a writing and publishing career. They began writing in 2005 and David received his first published song in 2006. Continuing on his path to success, David is currently writing with many of Nashville's hit songwriters and preparing to accomplish great things in 2007.
