Here is a lovely duet from Handel's Tamerlano, "Coronata di Gigli e di Rose". It was originally written for the two castrati featured in the opera.
This was the encore of a concert we did in Piedrahíta (Spain), on August 30th 2006 - we performed Vivaldi's Gloria e Imeneo and people loved the whole thing, thankfully :)
I am singing Andronico's role here, while my dear friend José Carrión sings Tamerlano. Notice the duel of trills and dissonances :)
