This video won:Runner Up for Best Tearjerker**My first Niki fanvid, this Heroes video tries to show all of Niki throughout season 1 (Volume 1) of Heroes. I think you can interpret this video in one of two ways:1) This is an AU video where Niki is suffering with her alcoholism, remembering all of the rash decisions she made while drunk, feeling as though she is out of control while she's under the influence of alcohol and almost "watching herself" from an outsider's perspective, alarmed by what she sees. Still, even though she'll always be an alcoholic, and it's still painful for her, she's getting better, waking up, and holding on to the real flower in her life (her son, Micah).2) A general Niki/Jessica video from Niki's point of view showing how she regains control of her life throughout a difficult and scary journey in season 1 - basically a character-study of Niki Sanders.I thought the line in the song "At the end of this road I might catch a glimpse of me" fit Niki SO well, considering all of the times she looks in the mirror and doesn't see herself, but how at the end of season one, she sees herself - the real her!And I also found it very interesting that in the 10th episode "Six Months Ago", viewers find out that Niki is an alcoholic, and in the 20th episode, "Five Years Gone", we see Niki work in a bar and drink...I'm sorry for my low-quality and blurry clips!!This is my fourth video made using my free trial of Ulead VideoStudio 11.0 Plus, so please tell me what you think I could improve on, and what you liked!Enjoy!Song: SoberArtist: Kelly Clarkson
