A Time to Say Goodbye
Here's goes! This is one of the toughest songs I've learned lately. It's my arrangement of a Time to Say Goodbye, an extremely popular classical tune played by the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman and Drew Tretick. I tried to make use a huge spectrum of the notes you can get out of a five string electric violin. I went from the low viola C to a high E on the E string, so I got the most sound out of the violin. This shows what an EVL violin is capable of... and, of course, my personal limits as far as virtuosity goes (which I most certainly am not). It's a pretty tough song, and I took a huge risk in recording it, as I am rather weak anywhere above third position. But, I hope you like it... I know I liked playing it, and I like the song in general.Sorry about the lighting... I rearranged my room and now I have to stand in this spot to make videos... I'll come up with something sooner or later though to fix this issue... I guess the lighting actually adds a bit of feeling to the video... Again, the audio isn't great at all... it really cuts out on the high notes. Just know that it sounded much more pure in person! Again, use your imagination! ;)
