LD2 Greenscreen Effect (in-game!) [らぶデス2 /...
Well, last time I did a CG greenscreen video, I made a CG character (from Schoolmate) appear in a 'real-life' environment. This time I did it the other way round - made MYSELF appear in a game environment, along with a CG character (Koto) from the newest game by TeaTime. ;)Although there's no camera movement, I tried to make it look more 3D by walking around Koto properly (ending up both behind and in front of her). Please excuse the RIDICULOUSLY LOW FRAME RATE of the CG part of the video. My computer can not handle running the game and screen-capturing at the same time, so what you see was got by me repeatedly hitting PrintScreen, which was about 1 frame every 2 seconds. xDIf I get a decent new computer, which I hope to very soon, this shouldn't be a problem, and you can expect smoother stuff from me. ;)Enjoy~!(And please don't hate me~!) ^^;;;- - MORE TECHNICAL RUBBISH: - - One of the 'videos' used is a screenshot of part of a school room on the game's map.I had to edit the textures of the game to be all green to be able to get Koto on a video all by herself. Then there's me... against a very usefully turquoise wall in my house which is luckily close enough to green to work well as a greenscreen. Somehow it works better than my green piece of material which I use as a real green screen (which was too small to use for this). Some hours of editing with Adobe Premier, MediaCoder and VirtualDubMod, and this is the result. Some of the random objects involved in the making of this video include a stool and a large pile of books (camcorder sits on), a floodlight (gotta kill those dark patches), 2 VHS tapes (...gotta prop up the floodlight --;), a tape measure (got to make sure I'm looking at 157cm - Koto's height), and 4 pens lying on the floor (to mark the limits of the area which the camcorder can see).
