COMPLETE DETAILS: I was driving across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel going about 60-65mph when a minivan from New York went sailing by me. As a driver, it is always nice to have a rabbit ahead. I picked my speed up to about 70 when I came up to one of the cutouts where the cops always run radar. I eased up and sure enough, they were emitting. The minivan was probably doing in the 80-85mph range as he blew by the cop, traveling in the hammer lane. I was in the right lane probably 1/4 mile behind the minvan at this point as I passed the cop (going 60) and I was surprized he didn't jump out. So now I am thinking, WTF? is the cop letting them slide on that? I get maybe 1/4 mile past the cutout when I see the cop pull out and move to the left lane acclerating. I am grabbing for my camera as he smokes by me on a highspeed run right up to the rear bumper of the hammer lane minivan who is now trying to look innocent at 55. The cop was cool as he just rode behind them letting them shit bricks for awhile. After following them for about closely for about 1/2, he lights up to pull the perps. At this point I am in the right lane quite a ways back and I moved to the left lane to give the cop and the perp room to move to the right shoulder. Finally the minvan moves to the right lane but make no effort to pull over. I hang back (so I can film) as the cop is following them fully illuminated. This goes on for over 2 miles and the cop now has his siren wailing as well. The span ends and we go dry and the minvan pulls over. As I pass the toll booths I see other cop cars had moved into position to block the road if they kept going. Sorry about the crappy video quality, I had the camera on low-res.
