As you can see, this is a petition for the following:RuneScape has done nothing but degrade ever since JaGex decided to advertise their so-called 13+ game on a website that is almost exclusively used by people UNDER 13. Now the only possible logic I can see in that, is JaGex decided they weren't making enough of a profit with people over 13, so they decided to ring in tens of thousands of children under 13, AGAINST their own rules, to make more money. Sorry if it's slanderous JaGex, but there aren't many other possible explanations, and it looks bad. The entire population of this game is made up by AT LEAST 40% of people UNDER 13. And don't say that's not true, because you have proof, YOU DON'T. Nobody in their right mind would actually tell the truth about being under 13 during character creation. The mass of children under 13 playing this game are the reason most low levels have been given a bad name and branded a "noob". They are the reason there is so much offesnive language in the game, so much disrespect and complete disregard for the rules. They are the reason you keep bringing out low level oriented updates, and giving quests CHILDISH storylines. They're the reason perfectly good items have been NERFED, perfectly good mini-games have been laid waste to, and perfectly good skills have either been made too easy, or been changed in some way to accomodate lower level players. You are fair in a lot of things JaGex, and you are a good company, you just can't see that a specific group of customers are ruining this game for the rest of us. The solution is simple, and it has been stated MANY times before. Take your advertisement off the children's website(you know which one i'm talking about), and NEVER put it back on there, or any other similar website aimed at children under 13 again. It's that simple. We loyal players will NOT just sit back and watch RuneScape die. We WILL get through to you, we WILL save RuneScape before it's too late. I am tired of being told by Jagex that it is my computer or ISP's fault that Runescape is lagging on my desktop. That is complete bunk. I am currently playing two other online games that never have the horrible lag issues that Runescape has. No other program I run on my computer that relies on an internet connection is even remotley close to the lag, lost connections, and loading problems that I have experienced with Runescape in the last four months alone. It is not just one world. I have had my clanmates on many different worlds all over lose connections and have to reload; cursing the lost connections and the obvious lag as they come back on. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to quit Runescape; I love this game and it is my favorite. However, I am starting to see that more and more it is becoming less playable for a variety of reasons; from the awful community, to the terrible lag, to the glaring neglect of loyal, long time members in contrast to the newer players who are easily amused and need to be coddled, to Jagex's arrogance in telling me that I cannot run certain programs ON MY OWN COMPUTER (!) that are explicitly not in violation of game rules. It is sad to say, as again, I love this game and would rather not quit. However, as each day passes, I am seeing that this game is becoming problematic and not worth the hassle. I have lost my gameplay times for this game. Jagex is not doing what they should be. Immaturity in the game is apauling. Changes to rule 7 (again) has made runescape go downhill even more.Jagex say all over and over again that they listen to the suggestions forum on the RS forums. that's false. there have been many threads that have reached over 1000 supporters in for years bieng ignored.for loyal RuneScape players, sign if you agree that, jagex should listen and respect loyal players, make high level updates and improve customer service, and STOP the immaturity. Together we can make a difference, together we can save RuneScape.
