This is a response to NotNickGisburne's video of "Atheists have morals too". Sorry about the clicking mic sounds..I have no idea why it did that and don't know how to remove it. I Do agree athesits can and do have morals actually. A simple web search shows the many contributions to society and the world in general that have been done by atheists. The Christians that try to use this tacitc seem to have forgotten Jesus' Words that 'no one is good but God'. None of us can meet that standard...that is the whole point of Jesus anyway. No Christian can or is always going to have good morals...obviously not since the media glaringly lets us know when one of ours falls short of God's standards. Again the point is missed as the idea isn't about doing it on our own. Jesus taught very basic things such as take care of the sick, the poor, those in prison, those in need, the ophans, the widows and so on. While this seems like common sense, apparently its not as many countries throughout the world do not do these basic things. They don't even take care of ophan children let alone the old and handicapped. Individually we can point out certain people that do help everyone in general, regardless of their beliefs. I could point out great Christians leaders that helped huge amounts of people due to good morals...the atheist could point out a great atheist that did the same thing and we could play ring around the rosey forever on that...But in looking at the world overall, we fall so short of showing basic moral standards its pathic. People all over the world are literally straving to death due to lack of others caring. Right now we have people contributing millions of dollars to those running for President in the US, while children go hungry or are homeless right here in America. We having people dying from lack of health care because they don't have the money. Yet we pay huge amounts of money to movie stars and singers and sports figures, yet pay little to firemen, teachers, police....our morals are so lopsided and have been for so long, we think this is normal and 'acceptable'. There are literally millions of women and children being sold into slavery across the world in this very age and day! Slaverly is not a thing of the past. Many are smuggled over to the US too. Why is this allowed to go on? Because not enough people care enough to stop it. Not enough people with the right clout and money are out there trying to stop it. I could put on a very long list of extremely major moral problems happening all around the world and this is more then likely what the Christians is seeing and refering too...though possibly going about addressing it in the wrong way. I did not cover the above topic in this video because I was addressing the topic at hand which is saying humans are no better then animals..that animals have some sense of morals and so do we. I disgree with that.
