On Thursday someone asked to see footage shot with my Redrockmicro lens adapter and my Zenit 16mm fisheye lens; I'd shot a music video with it but haven't got the tapes back from the director, so I filmed my kitchen table. On Friday a friend called about a possible video project featuring the harpsichord, and I figured they'd appreciate the "filmic" look the Redrockmicro adapter gives to an old piano. I don't play well at all, but I managed to get a few good shots--some with one hand on the focus, the other on the piano keys. Never one to waste a random encounter, I edited the kitchen table (apples, flower and Gromit) and the piano together, set to Dave Brubeck's Blue Rondo a La Turk.
