After the first interracial kiss on Star Trek was well received, the writers and directors became even more daring and produced this episode where Spock and Capt Kirk find their own way to deal with stress, loneliness and the 150 to 1 male/female ratio on board the Enterprise. This was deemed too controversial by network management and the episode was scrapped. The original episode print was destroyed but thankfully we can recreate the episode with recently discovered audio tracks, still photos and storyboard renderings. The final frontier is love.
