Chapter 7Julie [whispering to Nick]: He can never let us have one good moment, can he?They turned to face Nat. Nat: Please Julie, give me 5 minutes.Julie: Sorry, but I don't have five minutes. I have a life and need to live it.Nat: Where are you going?Julie: None of your business! Come on Nick.She took hold of Nick's arm and started to walk toward her belongings. But Nat ran up to her and grabbed her shoulder. She turned around and wiped off Nat's hand.Julie: Don't touch me!She and Nat were eye to eye right next to the pool now. Julie [flirty]: Actually, I've missed you touching my shoulder.She smiled.Julie [looking into Nat's eyes]: Put your hand on my shoulder again, please.He softly placed his hand on her shoulder. She put her hand on this shoulder, too. Julie pinched her lip. Julie: You can kiss me now.So, Nat leaned into kiss her. Suddenly, she shifted her hand to the side of his arm and pushed Nat into the pool. There was a big splash. Julie: That's why YOU don't touch me. Now get a life. She and Nick left the backyard, laughing, and went inside to get ready to go to the hospital. But, before they met up with the family, they took one last look at the soggy Nat Wolff (who was stepping out of the pool) and locked the sliding doors. Just in case the wet boy was VERY mad. They watched him leave, and then left themselves when their names were called. Julie and Nick made their way into Mr. Jonas's car with Joe and Kevin already inside. Mrs. Jonas was with Frankie in the ambulance truck.
