Cupping is a common household cure for colds, fevers, stomach aches, etc. I had to get it done just to see what it did. About as effective as sugar pills, but it was a cool concept. The fire burns up all the oxygen, creating a vacuum that sucks blood out of small puncture wounds on the back. This blood is supposed to be bad blood and will take the sickness with it.
