The party makes it to Alvanista, and plan to see the prince, but the castle is locked, they aren't allowed in and the prince won't see anyone. They decide to sneak into the castle at night through a balcony with Arche's help. After stumbling around in the dark, they end up in the prince's room, accidently waking him up. He calls for the guards, but at the same time, the group notices he's being possessed by a bird sitting on the desk. The bird transforms into Jahmir and they clash into battle. After Jahmir loses, the party is still imprisoned by the prince and his guards.
