Can you be an enemy to the nation of your best friend in High-school, your dentist,your doctor,your best friends at work,in the army and your neighbour who comes to celebrate you in your religious hollidays and you go to their house in their religous hollidays or in other WORDS WITH WHOM you live like a family ?Yes I am talking about the Armenian minority of Turkey with whom we are very proud and happy of living. I shall give by name each person here and also send my greetings to them at the same time. In primary school I met Nedim a very peaceful child of a Turkish father and Armenian mother. During Highschool the best friend of a crony of mine was Rober Varol.When I began to my working life I had the chance of knowing Ani Elyazar,Janot Apikyan, Cenya and many others.In the army I had another nice friend Piyer Acemoğlu.My dentist was Mr Varujyan, my doctor was Proffesor Karabet and my auto mechanic was Garbis and another nice Armenian whose name I forgot.I love all these people,send my greetings from here to all of them and I am sorry for the ones whose name I could not mention here because it will take really a lot of time to give the names of my nice Armenian friends I have in Turkey.In addition we have many rich Armenians,singers, writers and people from all jobs with whom we are very happy to live together . I would be personally very sorry if some people from my nation did anything to their ancestors in history but as much as I know during the dates 1890s and 1st WW we had 12 Armenian ministers& 29 Armenian Generals (Pasha in Turkish)&10 senators 12 deputies&many consulates& thousands of bureaucrats in the most strategical duties of state like Treasury and Foreign Affairs.So I wonder how can it be called Genocide? Yes the Armenians in Eastern Turkey-Russian Border - cooperating with Russians were exiled --not killed -- and during this exile bad things happened because 60 Turkish soldiers were hanged of treating Armenians badly and this is the ugly face of the war where both sides suffer always.Now in Turkey we have 40.000 illegal Armenian workers sending money to their families according to economist magazine ( economist.com) and 70.000 illegal Armenian workers according to our statistics Although we have a 9% of unemployment and about 3 million workers in abroad we are stil happy to share our bread with them.In brief people who are not aware of of this Picture called Diaspora can never and ever destroy our living like a family in the same warm house . My last word is UNESCO has named 2007 International Year of Rumi because His doctrine advocated unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love.
