Recently discovered, dumped, kept private, and then leaked is this Super Mario Bros. 2 prototype!Most of you probably know that SMB2 was actually made from a game called Doki Doki Panic. Don't know what it is? Visit: http://www.themushroomkingdom.net/smb...Well, this neat proto is basically in the transitional stage from DDP to SMB2. For example, the magic potions are still magic lamps. Also, like DDP, things like vines, grass, and POW blocks have no animation, and Albatoss's have less. I'm sure you can spot most of these things for yourself. The trademark B button run also is not implemented yet.There's also some debug features in effect. Pressing select glitches up your life meter. That's because pressing select adds 15 hits to your health. You also start with 19 lives, and pressing A on the title screen allows you to start on different worlds, one world at a time.Have you ever seen the US commercial for this game? Most of the scenes in it have a glitched up debug life meter just like this one!(I know the video is a tad laggy, but just freakin' deal with it.
