On Wednesday, March 8, Collective Soul, famous for its 90s hits "Shine" and "The World I Know" among others, played a special charity/private party at the Kenneth Cole store in Rockefeller Plaza. The band soundchecked before the store closed at 5:30 for the event. Collective Soul formed their own label after parting ways with Atlantic and released the album, From The Ground Up, in 2005. The band followed that with a DVD. Dean Roland, one half of brother combination that powers the band, told us how the band got involved with Kenneth Cole.
