This popular variation on the High Five was immortalised in the film Top Gun. Buddy-pilots Maverick and Goose are seen to high five, then after making contact continue the motion of the arms downwards, with the palms meeting again in a "six o'clock" position. This variant of the High Five is best used when playing beach volleyball or when you "feel the need - the need for speed!". We've demonstrated this kind of High Five in a Top Gun pastiche, but we didn't have an aircraft carrier handy so had to make do with the living room.
