This is probably the gayest non-gay mainstream music video ever made. There have been many gay videos, i.e. Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Smalltown Boy by Bronski Beat. And there are many gay-positive non-gay videos, i.e. Christina Aguilera's Beautiful which features men kissing. And there are video suggesting male nudity, i.e. Blink 182. But no non-gay video has had the constant homoeroticism and imagery of this. Note the wet Speedo scene and the boys wearing loincloths in the dance orgy.Ironically, composer Jim Steinman is best known for his depiction of heterosexual teen male angst. His most famous work is the classic Bat Out of Hell album by Meatloaf.
