Game5 Panthers Vs BroncosII(Las Vegas team)NYS 2007 LASVEGAS Fall League.The "Boys in Teal" went out this saturday afternooon with one thing in mind "TO WIN". Heading up the offensive drive was Coach Manny" The Bull" ready and confident. Pre-Game the Panthers team looked on as DesertHeat who was still playing on the field decimated Green Machine with a shut out 56-0 victory, echoed their own DesertHeat encounter.Finished with their game the Heat cleared off the field as the Panthers entered. Some of the Panther kid's eyes narrowed as both teams passed each other. The last time the Panthers locked horns with the "Boys in Black", the Panthers took a bitter pill to swallow. Still fresh on their minds,heads were hung low that day as the Panthers lost their 1st game of the season and adding insult to injury was embarrased with a shutout loss to the Heat. But that was "YESTERDAY". Today, a different team entered the field. Stirred by stomach hurling practice workouts or maybe just the sting of hurt pride knowing that they, the Panthers are better team than what the Heat gave them credit for, the Panthers held their heads high as they turned and steered their focus on the BroncosII. This was todays game at hand and it's "GAMETIME!!!" Although missing 2 key players (Jeremy&John"Slim"+ James) the Panthers showed that it was not individual efforts that made the plays and won the games but the combined will and determination of EVERYONE wearing the Teal uniform playing "Right here & Right now", on the field. Everyone on the Panthers team was blocking, everyone was hitting, and everybody on the team were making things happen. The team went to show everybody even themselves what Panthers football is all about. Even with the BroncosII's coach using a bullhorn in an attempt to energize their team realized that the BroncosII's morale broke before the end of the 1st half. All you need to do is listen to the end of game stats. Dominick(70yrd rushing+30yrds passing +2TD'S +extraPT, 25yrd retrn +4tackles)performed a great job as 1stQB. Malik(171yrds rushing +2TD's +2tackles +1safety) Coby(2TD,90yrd return, +1tackle +5yrds) Cole(4tackles+5yrds recving+5yrds rushing +extra PTS) all ran TD's and Extra point conversions. Miles(5tackles+15yrd return+8yrds rushingw/TD) held on to the ball and kept on pumping those legs. Alex was tackling and striking (1TD, 6tackles +1safety +5yrd pass)like an angry "COBRA". Ryan(5tackles), John-john(5Tackles+7yrds rushing), D'Andre(4tackles+big blocks), Jessie(3 tackles +lots of blocking), Ashton(1 MAJOR tackle), Tyson("the original KEY PLAYER" 4tackles) and little Nikolas(1 Big assist on a tackle) went in, took the game play to overdrive and shutdown the Broncos' offense.
